Confidence Fitness Magnetic Rowing Machine

This machine is at the cheaper end of the market, but it is still well built. There are eight levels of magnetic resistance. You also get a display that shows progress in calories burnt, time, and strokes. You also get a cumulative counting option with this machine.

Maximum user weight is 242Ibs/110kg, but its long reach and large foot pedals means even tall people should be comfortable using this machine. The machine is easy to assemble and fold. Its folded dimensions are: (H) 44”/ 113cm x (W) 16”/40cm x (L) 34”/ 86cm.

Paradigm Cyber Rower

This machine is one of the more sophisticated in our top five. You get 10 levels of resistance as well as a height adjustable monitoring screen that shows you five performance variables.

There is also a chain recoil mechanism for smooth stroke recovery.

This rower has wheels to make rolling it away into storage as easy as possible. However, it only folds in half, so you need a space that is about 40”/100cms in length, but it is very stable when stowed because it is about half the height of the other machines when folded.
